How to use our books
Collection 3 builds on concepts from Collections 1 and 2 to advance readers’ knowledge of vowel spelling patterns. In order to align and plug in alongside your curriculum, this collection’s 30 titles are broken into three sets for flexible use. Ten titles focus on R-Controlled Vowels, while ten titles focus on Long Vowel Patterns (Teams). These sets are not dependent on one another, and therefore can be used in the order that matches your phonics curricular sequence. The final ten titles focus on advanced vowel patterns (including diphthongs) and provide cumulative reinforcement of R-Controlled Vowels and Long Vowel Patterns.
